24 Hours Film Making Challenge

Suit up to attend a filmmaking workshop at the biggest Science Fest of the country! Here at India's largest campus filmmaking workshop; prepare for the most spirited filmmaking experience you’ve ever had. In teams of 10 or fewer (excluding the cast), prepare a script, shoot, edit, and submit your 120-second original on the theme within 24 hours, to be critiqued by established panellists. With goodies and competition vouchers for winners, have a chance to have your winning films will be screened at Asia’s largest content creation festival!

About India Film Project

India Film Project has established itself as one of the largest content-driven activity in the globe with a community of over 5.5 Lac creators. IFP Season 7 in 2017 saw over 45,000 enthusiasts participating across the fest from 262 cities. The festival saw over 20,000 attendees and over a hundred celebrated filmmakers and artists.

Rules for 24 Hour Filmmaking Challenge
  • The theme will be revealed via WhatsApp/SMS at the beginning of 24 hours.
  • Tasks – Each team has to perform following tasks in the given period of 24 hours – Scripting, Casting, Location and Art Design,
  • Teams can shoot on DSLR or Mobile on 720p or higher. However, the editing must be done on a laptop.
  • Team Leaders will receive the link for uploading the films at the start of the competition.
  • Maximum length of film should be 120 seconds excluding beginning and end credits.
  • You can have maximum 10 members in your team, excluding the cast.
  • Any film received after the 24 hour deadline will be disqualified.
